All Bodies Yoga Therapy is based in Petersham, in Sydney’s inner west.
As Yoga Therapy is specific to you there is no overall timetable – individual sessions are arranged to suit your life.
Ideally, three sessions over a 4-6 week period will support you to develop your practice and improve your well-being.
The first session usually requires 90 minutes minimum to assess, develop and teach you a practice followed by a 60-minute follow-up session a week or two later. Depending on availability, your progress and or priorities, the third session of 45-60 minutes is a time to re-assess your goals and needs in line with your therapy.
Of course, individual, one-off sessions may be more appropriate for you, especially if you have some experience of yoga or have a specific need.
$180 for 3 x sessions (recommended)
$ 75 casual rate, one-off session
Home visits can be arranged with a referral from a medical practitioner. Travel costs can be negotiated.
Group sessions are negotiable depending on requirements, regularity etc.

My Journey So Far
On reflection, Yoga waited for me until I was ready for it – in my middle age!
I now recall many friends and colleagues suggesting over the years I’d like Yoga but I somehow pushed it away every time.
Maybe it was because my professional career and beliefs were deeply embedded in the medical world, through my family and early career as a Registered General and Mental Health Nurse and later in both National and State-based health bodies. I had an idea Yoga was a bit ‘waffly’ or not serious in the sense of its traditional approach not being tested by science.
Eventually, a friend took me to a local yoga class and we started by lying down (on the floor!) and focussing on slowing the breath.
My teacher that day started by speaking about how some people came to Yoga for the physicality of it, the flexibility and strengthening and some people came to Yoga for the relaxation and calming effects, or even for the connection to breath, spirit and the greater consciousness.
That wonderful young teacher finally suggested some people came to Yoga for all of those reasons – and there it was!
I realised I had been looking for Yoga for most of my adult life; looking for something that could help me both physically and mentally as well as fill the intellectual and spiritual gaps that were becoming more apparent as I aged.
That first Yoga class was the start of an amazing non-stop journey that led to ongoing study and practice as a Yoga Teacher and a Yoga Therapist.
My diverse career spanning health, public affairs, communications, performance coaching, and change management serve me well and Yoga has helped me to integrate my life skills in applying Yoga Therapy effectively and happily.
Yoga has given me many gifts, including physical, emotional and mental space, travel and friends but most importantly it’s given me a life-fulfilling practice I can share with others who want to improve their lives.

Yoga Teaching and Therapy Education
I am an experienced Viniyoga Yoga Teacher in the Krishnamacharya Viniyoga tradition and completed my Post Graduate Yoga Therapy Training with Yoga Therapy Australia and Yoga Vayida Sala in Chennai, India.
My approach to teaching and therapy is accessible, open and informative. I really am passionate about sharing my knowledge and skills to empower each of my students to improve and maintain their best life.
Currently, I teach Yoga to a wide range of students at venues within the inner city of Sydney, Australia. I’m working with the Committee of Management for the Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists too.
All Bodies Yoga Therapy was born of my lifelong interest in health, living my best life and my passion for Yoga; it is based in Petersham, in Sydney’s inner west.
Fate has blessed me with many wonderful teachers and my first homage is to T Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar in whose tradition I practice.
